ShowTutorial command

Shows the tutorial identified by TutorialIndex. Tutorials are localized in-game messages displayed in the same spot as the message of the day, offering new players hints, and they fade out after a while just as the message of the day does.

Argument information
  • <Tutorial Index>type: number

    The numeric index of the tutorial.

  • <Force Display>type: boolean

    A toggle — use 1 to turn it on, 0 to leave it off.

Examples

This console command displays tutorial 1 ("Your first day.") and forces it to display (1). The tutorial appears in the same spot as the message of the day and fades out after a while.

Using cheats on a server

On a multiplayer server, authenticate first with enablecheats <password>, and prefix admin commands with admincheat instead of cheat.
