The seed ship is away. Project Genesis is a triumph. It's hard to fully accept what we here at Arat Prime have accomplished together, arguably the most momentous and audacious thing ever attempted by human ingenuity.
Though the mission took all of our remaining resources, everyone that ever lived on Earth now has a chance to survive and prosper elsewhere in the cosmos, thanks to our work.
Future generations will surely remember and commemorate our great efforts on their behalf. Perhaps those same descendants will even find a way to forgive us for fouling our homeworld beyond repair.
But for now, my team -- my people's thoughts are with the brave crew of the Genesis ship as they search the heavens for a new home for humanity. May providence guide them.
