Minimum hits to knock out a level 150 Megatherium, using primitive (100%-quality) weapons. This is a floor — it ignores the torpor a creature regenerates between shots, so bring a few spare. Land hits on the head where possible for bonus damage, and watch torpor doesn't drain faster than you raise it.

Megatherium guide

How to tame the Megatherium
The Megatherium is a knockout (violent) tame. Render it unconscious with tranquilizer arrows or darts, then feed it both meat and berries — with its preferred kibble taming fastest and at higher effectiveness. Keep its Torpor topped up with Narcotics or Narcoberries while it eats — use the taming calculator above to see exact food counts, taming time and the effectiveness you'll land at your target level.
Aim for the head where you can — most creatures take extra torpor from headshots — and don't let Torpor drain faster than you raise it. The knockout estimator above lists the minimum tranq arrows and darts for any level.
Megatherium spawn command
