Knockout tame. Edit the Use column to mix foods — the game eats the best food first, so the summary feeds your kibble/prime before filling the rest with meat. Sedatives shown keep it under for the whole tame; bring spares.

Minimum hits to knock out a level 150 Kentro, using primitive (100%-quality) weapons. This is a floor — it ignores the torpor a creature regenerates between shots, so bring a few spare. Land hits on the head where possible for bonus damage, and watch torpor doesn't drain faster than you raise it.

Melee and movement speed are shown as a percentage; taming effectiveness only boosts stats with a taming bonus (such as melee).

Raising. The Baby phase (0–10%) is the dangerous window — the baby can't eat from a feeding trough and must be hand-fed until it reaches Juvenile. Imprint at each cuddle interval for the full bonus. Wall-clock times assume the egg is fertilized now and rescale with your server profile; mating cooldown is unaffected. Imprint counts assume the default imprint amount — tune that on the imprint calculator.

Kentro guide

The Kentro is a herbivore in ARK: Survival Ascended. It spawns wild on The Island, Scorched Earth and Extinction. This page covers its spawn commands, base stats, taming and breeding — with interactive calculators you can drive by level.

How to tame the Kentro

The Kentro is a knockout (violent) tame. Render it unconscious with tranquilizer arrows or darts, then feed it berries, crops and mejoberries — with its preferred kibble taming fastest and at higher effectiveness. Keep its Torpor topped up with Narcotics or Narcoberries while it eats — use the taming calculator above to see exact food counts, taming time and the effectiveness you'll land at your target level.

Aim for the head where you can — most creatures take extra torpor from headshots — and don't let Torpor drain faster than you raise it. The knockout estimator above lists the minimum tranq arrows and darts for any level.

Kentro spawn command

To spawn a wild Kentro, open the console and run its Summon command. To spawn one already tamed at a chosen level, use GMSummon instead — both are copy-ready in the Spawn commands panel above, along with the raw spawn class (Kentro_Character_BP_C) for use with commands like SpawnDino.

Breeding the Kentro

The Kentro can be bred. Fertilized eggs must be incubated at the right temperature before they hatch. Use the breeding calculator above to plan mating cooldowns, incubation or gestation time, and the maturation timeline from baby to adult, including the imprinting schedule.
